"I joined the chorus when I moved to NYC in 2014. Being a part of The Cecilia Chorus of New York has offered me the opportunity to improve my vocal skills, as the chorus tackles new classical pieces by up and coming composers, as well as the timeless masterworks - from Beethoven to Brahms to Handel. Joining the Board in 2015 allowed me to get more involved with the chorus. I treasure the relationships I have built with fellow Board and Chorus members. The chorus is full of fascinating and talented people. What better way to spend your Monday nights? And did I mention we sing in Carnegie Hall? The first time I walked onto that stage and the chorus started singing, I teared up. There is nothing in the world like hearing the gorgeous, collective sound of voices echoing throughout the hall."
